FAQ'sWhat happens when I go for a treatment?
On the first treatment I will complete a detailed consultation form with you to assess your present and past health and lifestyle. This will help me to plan the course of your treatment. You will then relax in the chair or on a treatment couch, fully clothed (apart from shoes and socks for reflexology), and I will undertake a treatment for the remainder of the session.
At each subsequent treatment I will ask you to give me any feedback on how you felt after the previous treatment. Please also describe anything else you may be experiencing as it shows how your body is responding to the treatment. I will then do a full treatment.
How long do the treatment sessions last?
Each treatment session is 1 hour long.
How will I feel after a treatment?
Each person is unique so you may respond in a variety of ways. You may feel a sense of wellbeing and relaxation but could feel lethargic, tearful, a need to use the bathroom more than usual or experience some of the symptoms of your specific problem. Please remember these are only temporary as they are the body's way of getting rid of toxins as part of the healing process. They should only last 24-48 hours.
How often do I need to come for a treatment?
Each person and each treatment session is unique. I will recommend a treatment plan so that you gain the maximum benefit from your particular therapy (usully one a week for 4-6 weeks) then a maintenance programme but this can change at any time depending on your response to the therapy.
How much do the treatments cost?
All treatments are charged at £30 per 1 hour session.
24 hours notice is required if you need to change or cancel an appointment to avoid a 100% cancellation charge. Missed appointments are charged in full.
